Snow and certain melody

It is midnight. Though the oil heater is working narrowly, cold air gives my legs an unpleasant stimulus, flowing in from somewhere as a time.
And, its touch made me realize my tiredness. But, I don't feel sleepy yet.
It may be because it feels pain in the loins. However, it is obvious it experiences the physical condition more terrible tomorrow if it doesn't sleep.
As it thought, it is necessary to lie on the futon though it doesn't know whether it can sleep or not.
If not, I will get illness of something, soon. Or, rather would it be better to say I get neurosis? I spreaded the futon on the tatami for the moment.
And, it turned off the radio and stopped the oil heater.

However, it isn't in the feeling it lies on the futon somehow. For the moment, it, particularly without purpose, sat down on the round chair laid near the radio. And, it gazed at the futon only in silence.
Silence and coldness sneak up on me as if it is a demon or other. Before it notices, it was pricking up the ears at the soundless world

However, I can hear nothing. It is too silent. By any chance, would it be because it is snowing? I, drawing the curtain suddenly, peeped in the outside sight through window. When it sees, large flakes of snow are falling through the dark at the moonless night in silence.
It seems wind is blowing a little. The white small crystals, like petals often whirl while falling slightly obliquely slowly, reflecting the whitish light the street lamp gives off. And, it lay on the already snowy street and houses, and so on one after another tenderly.

The night snow falls gives me the soft impression persistently. It makes me feel even warmth. Suddenly, an image of a snow-capped small chapel went through my heart together with the melody I heard somewhere old days. And, this old melody wrung my heart with inexpressible feelings, making me remember deep sorrow.

However, who made this beautiful melody? Is it Shubert? Or else, is it Gounod? If not, would it be Verdi? Though it try to remember it, it can't remember because of my unclear memories. At any rate, this theme, maybe, is "the Ave Maria".

When it notices, I had been caught to the strong impulse to hear this song, though it doesn't know why.
