	Introduction. The mental problems of Japan.
	At ancient Japanese Islands, various people formed various communities with cooperating with each other for one's living or, while fighting each other to get the supremacy as a time. And, soon, they also started to produce the characteristic culture in the Japanese Islands, while repeating the mixing of each blood and the fusion of each culture. The historical process like that gives the peoples called Wha the birth in certain period. In passing, it can find out the "Wha" as a proper noun into the geography book written in ancient China about the east savages. It can understand the ancient history of Japanese Islands as the history of the political unification Wha mainly promoted. And, for the moment, it can say that the ancient political unification like that roughly have been completed in the beginning of Nara period at the area of ancient Japan, being started from Yayoi period though the history of political unification still continues after that. Note 1 : It is said Jomon period is from about 8000 B.C. until about 300 B.C. generally. It is said Yayoi period is from about 300 B.C. until about 300 A.D. generally. Then, As for the Nara period, it roughly is in the 8th Century. However, it can find out the history of Japanese peoples and of the political unification at least in the latter term of Jomon period if it is seen from other viewpoint. Furthermore, if it thinks about the origin of Japanese culture, it seems that it already can find out in the first term of Jomon period though the thing is stated in detail with this body. Anyhow, it can say that our culture is the rare culture holding the not changing certain mental footing for about ten thousand years if it is compared to other civilized communities in the world. And, its reason is in our brain's special characteristic to be stated later. Anyhow, it is certain that the characteristic like that produced our culture. And, our culture like that is based on the sense of reverence and of awe we hold about nature though a present civilized society is apt to lose the sense like that. However, today, we unfortunately are about to forget the mind like that at least in our consciousness. In other words, it seems that the soul as the core of our culture keeps getting driven out to the depths of our mind. And it seems to have started secretly because of certain mental pressure in Yayoi period. The pressure like that was brought from the ancient rationalism, that is, the logic of civilization based on Yayoi culture if it says about the ancient time. Furthermore, it can say that the pressure like that was born of the rationalism of Europeanized civilization if it says about the modern times. Therefore, the rationalism like that made our mind be two layer structure, driving out our original mind, that is, the soul like Jomon culture, to the bottom of the mind. But, it is certain that our original mind is holding the very excellent intuition for insight because of the certain characteristic of our brain. However, the intuition like that is apt to sleep because of the dual structure of our mind, that is, because of the mental oppression. So, it thinks that many problems we face with occur because of our not being aware of the thing. However, as for the detail, it is stated later. Today, this community called Japan is being tossed by the storm of organization and by the violent wave of globalization. This is very serious problem for us, in the reason that our community should make its centripetal force be based on Jomon culture originally. Our Japan looks to be terribly passive on the problem of globalization. Because of that, the storm called globalization insistently shows us only the aspect of Western European rationalism's invading Japan. It may be because Japan almost doesn't issue the thought like relativism which is based on Japanese culture. At the present time, the worldview like absolutism keeps on bringing many serious conflicts with giving no one the place to escape. At the circumstances like that, it seems that the tolerant mind from the thought like relativism is necessary now. But, would our Japan be ready to show the attitude like that? On the other hand, when it turns the eyes to our country, certainly, the modern buildings and the social systems are becoming very good in Japan because of the people's effort. However, today, the original mind as the motive for the construction like that tends to be forgotten frequently. The tendency like that also seems to often be seen at the people administering traditional culture. The certain organization administering traditional culture looks to have degenerated into mere machine which gathers money as a time. Probably, it must be because the mental principle as the core of our community is about to be forgotten. But, it would be hard we conquer the wave of the globalization without the principle like that because this storm is bringing the far bigger wave than we can imagine. And, our globalism also doesn't go well if the community's independence and characteristic are lost. It is because it isn't our globalization is completed by the our community's disappearing. We rather have to polish further our personality to be based on the Japanese culture than before, to make the value of us higher among the international society. Therefore, if we try to live as Japanese, we need to realize the principle of our mind to be the core of our community. Needless to say, the principle like that in the case of Japan can be kept by the spirit of Jomon culture, not in the ancient rationalism or the European rationalism though its detailed reason is stated later. So, it seems that the politics or other in Japan doesn't go well, if Japan is under the too strong influence of the rationalism. By any chance, the terrible failure in the Second World War may be related to the thing. There often are the cases the rising nation rapidly developed mistakes the attitude of the domestic policy or of the foreign policy because of the excessive self-confidence which was brought from rapid development. It probably occurs because of the said nation's imitating the advanced nations with shallowly understanding their culture and rationalism or other. Because of the social condition like that, our Japan once tasted the bitterness so terrible that it is hard to express. By any chance, it may be because we forgot the characteristic relativism in us because of the too strong influence of European absolutism. And, this probably is related to the thing that the philosophy characteristic in Japan had been forgotten for long. In spite of that, our original mind looks to fade out with keeping being driven out to the bottom of the mind day after day because of the fast tempo of the business or of other. Needless to say, it is certain that the philosophy characteristic in Japan still be into our mind whether we are aware of the thing, or not. But, it looks to be in the almost ignored situation. In that reason, it isn't so easy to recollect the mental principle at the social tendency like that. It seems that the intellectuals in each period too much were caught to the maintaining the powers mechanism and to the foreign culture and foreign systems. So, they concentrated their attention on the grafting those to the Japanese political mechanism without the properly considering Japanese culture. It probably was because they believed the European rationalism, at Meiji era, because of having believed for long the rationalism which is based on the Yayoi culture. And, probably the thing distorted our understanding about Japanese culture. Anyhow, that is the result we couldn't find out the principle which should be extracted from Japanese culture. And, our above-mentioned misunderstanding about our culture is seen not only in the Meiji era and the period of Samurais but even in today. By any chance, the distorted understanding to our culture may be the result that the intellectuals or others ignored one's true mind, feeling a fear about the perceiving the deep-rooted contradiction which exists between the Japanese culture and the political mechanism. Or else, reactionary feelings against the influence of foreign culture seen as a time at the past also may have been one cause. Anyhow, it can't assert that the unconcern on the mental principle doesn't bring us a horrific crisis. As Mr. Yukio Mishima once thought, it seems that this also is the crisis serious for the continuance of Japanese peoples. But, this isn't the meaning saying that his opinion about Japanese culture was proper. It rather seems it is better to say Japanese culture is based on the mental footing different from his understanding. However, the unconcern to the mental footing doesn't seem to be the problem characteristic in only Japan now. The importance of this problem is guessed from the situation new thought isn't born at all at least in Japan. Furthermore, even the logic to use for resistance in modern Japan had depended on the European thought whole. "Even if there isn't a thought, it is possible to live". Today, the tendency like that looks to be general at least in Japan. Because of that, many of Japanese people aren't aware of the footing characteristic in Japan in spite of their being living, under that footing. Or else, even if it is aware of the thing, it almost ignores the thing. Therefore, it almost isn't aware of today's crisis brought from the ignoring like that. Or else, it may be that it is giving up the thinking of the things like that. So, since we can't establish the mental principle or other, it seems that probably it kept on using the borrowed principle from Europe, and grafted the foreign various systems to the various fields. In passing, as for the crisis above mentioned, it means the crisis of the centripetal force's weakening in the community. Needless to say, the democracy adopted in the modern Japan also isn't the exception of that. As it thought before, it seems that it needs the mental footing gotten from the proper understanding about Japanese culture. Either, there may be the persons doubting whether the principle like that is found out of Japanese culture really. However, it is the terrible prejudice for Japanese culture. Probably it would be because the persons like that are being influenced to the Western European culture or American culture too much. In Modern Europe, there is the democracy to be based on the monotheism. On the other hand, in Japan, it seems that the democracy based on the principle like the polytheism can be effective.
NEXT PAGE			It would notice the logic of the freedom and equality is in our polytheistic worldview if it observes Japanese myth critically, comparing this myth with the Japanese history carefully. However, the logics like that got hidden secretly into the deep place of the myth in the far ancient times. So we have to consider not only the structure of the myth but also our mental and cultural structure without being caught to the usual knowledge. Needless to say, this work includes the difficult problems. It is because it necessarily can't but face the bitter truth for oneself if it thinks to carry out this work obediently. However, the mistake has to be corrected. It is because the present confusion of Japan seems to be the divine punishment of our ignoring the mistake like that. We really now should notice the true origin of our culture.
