	This, first written in Japanese, was issued in Justnet in 1997 year though it was rewritten several times after that. And, it was issued in Nyfty in July 18, 2005, translated into English. 	"Fasten your seatbelt please". Miyagi woke up in a tender voice by the side of the ear. When it looks at the sight of the outside through the window casually, it slightly can see the urban light glittering across the clouds and floating into the darkness. It seems it arrived at Osaka at last. Miyagi fastened the seatbelt obediently. It feels one's body is heavy because of maybe tiredness terribly. It doesn't seem that after this, it has the energy enough spare for going back to Tokyo. Miyagi, after getting off the plane, found out the hotel near the airport and rolled into the vacant room narrowly. It feels sleepy terribly anyway. The fear and uneasiness to the unknown vengeful ghost. And, the continued use of the psychic force. Those all are the first experience. It was natural that it gets tired heavily. Miyagi, when rolling into the bed, fell into the deep sleep at once. Since then, would it have slept for about six hours? When it looks at the wristwatch through the darkness of the night, it is in about three minutes past two. It doesn't feel the tiredness physically anymore. But, since Morpheus still is catching him, he, when going out of the bed, took a shower in cold water. It first takes shower to the calves. And, it raises the showering point gradually and takes shower to the head in the finish. Morpheus went away, withering rapidly. The preparedness to do meditation already is complete. He, when going out of the bath room, sat down on the floor with the crossed legs. It has to find out true character of the vengeful ghost with recollecting the memory it got in Miho-nho-seki. He, when shutting the eyes, started to walk the world the memory shows. Miyagi, when getting out of the rental car, got on the regular bus, walking a little. The bus runs the Shimane peninsula toward west. He got off the bus in the bus stop of Tishaku and started to trace the malicious undulation.
			When it walk for a little while, there is the branch road from highway. Though it is broad considerably, it was the graveled road. Since the gravel looks new considerably, it seems this road was constructed recently. After this, would it be it covers this with asphalt? However, the trucks and workers, and so on aren't seen at all though it doesn't know why. It was the really quiet road giving a person a strange impression. When it sees the right hand of the road, violent waves of Sea of Japan are attacking the rocky beach by the side of the road. And, in the left side of the road, it could see the rocky sheer precipice. When he again turns the eyes to the direction it is going to, it can see the flat ground in places across the end of the road. Since the trees had been cut down together with undergrowth in places, it must be in the middle of leveling of ground. Though it can't see the shovel machines, and so on, the mounds seen in places also had exposed the rough surface mercilessly, becoming bare.
	When it walks for a little while, there is the big signboard by the side of the end of the road. It was being written like "TEP. Co. ; The Planned construction site for the Tishaku Nuclear Power Plant", displaying one's existence in the black ink on the white background. However, since apparently it can't find the workers, and so on, it seems the preparation of the site is stopping though it doesn't know why. Instead, it could see unidentifiable persons are doing the works of something, facing the ground almost on all fours in the deep part of the site. And, a rounded mound is seen in the center of the area they are working in. It seems it has the height about ten meters and the diameter about thirty meters. It looked to be the singular sight strangely, though it may be because the ground surrounding that mound is very flat. However, it can't know the circumstances so detailedly because it is far a little. Miyagi walked toward the strange mound furthermore. It can see the small woods narrowly keeping the green sight around the mound, though the ground losing the trees and undergrowth is seen in places. And, Miyagi noticed the suspicious undulation in question is given off out of the mound or its surrounding ground. When it turns the eyes on the far sight, on the hill of about fifty meters distance from the mound, several persons are watching the unidentifiable works. Those observers must be travelers, if it judges from their behavior and the clothes or other. Miyagi, when walking to there furthermore and getting mixed in them, observed the situation of the works. The works in question look to be an excavation of something. It seems it happened to be discovered in the middle of the preparation of the site probably. When it notices, the part of the site they are working in was in the condition distinguished from the other parts by the ropes tied to the wooden posts in places. Then, in the corner of the site, there is a small wooden sign board written in like "The area for excavation of Cotosiro-nusi's ancient mound." with the black India ink. It, too plain, looked like, to be hiding oneself into the surrounding sight. And, when he turns the eyes on the mound in question, his sense of looking at this world started to change to the sense of looking at the psychic world.
	It can see the suspicious aura giving off the red flame. The aura had given off suspicious light, dyeing all of the mound in scarlet color and often raising the blackish flame. It suggests the horrible curse is keeping on oozing out to this world. In fact, many of persons working here had been tormented with the strange giddiness and inexpressible uneasiness. And, the influence that curse brings to them isn't only that. Their souls, sucked up of the vitality gradually before noticing, almost were about to be withered. Their pale faces are showing the thing clearly. The vicious desires produced by the curse before they notice had started to manipulate their soul. The only thing they are aware of was only the fact it can trust nobody. However, the pretended friendship is spreading between them because of their low level desires. It was certain they started to change to the monster different from human being. All is the phenomenon caused by the curse the vengeful ghost gives off.
	However, who is that vengeful ghost? Miyagi turned the eyes on the aura giving off the red flame, trying to look at the psychic phenomenon more deeply. And, when it sees, suddenly an uncanny sight quite different from the physical world is unrolled in front of the eyes. Countless long feelers from the aura like the whirlpool wriggled like a snake, were looking for something insistently. And, a black silhouette like a person is floating upon the base of the feelers. It gathered various vices with the raised hands toward the heavens and was changing it to the more horrible vice. The horrible vices become the vicious insects one after another and sneak into this world. It was certain the suspicious silhouette is manipulating the vicious insects. Furthermore, the undulation with the curse is given off out of that silhouette. It was certain that that silhouette is the vengeful ghost in question. And, that vengeful ghost is in Miho-nho-seki or its surrounding area, seems to manipulate the insects well. If so, that vengeful ghost must be Cotosiro-nusi. And, it should have called this wavering soul a vengeful god, not a vengeful ghost if it considers that strong psychic force. On the other hand, the insects sent to this world swarmed like a locust in the air, and hid the heavens. And, it, when turning over toward the ground suddenly, invades into the people's mind stealthily. Their habit is horrible though it is black and very small insect. It is that it changes a person to a living thing different from a human being, devouring the soul little by little or laying the eggs of vices into the heart. The souls of the people possessed to the insects already were infested with the uncanny maggots, were giving off the terribly rotten smell because of the poison the insects ooze. It already is difficulty it says they are a human being. They were giving off the uncanny mood, looking like, to be zombie. As a matter of fact, they make the eggs of vices infect the normal persons secretly. The pitiful victims of the insects changed like a zombie sooner or later, and the zombies like that kept on increasing increasingly. However, it seems there are the persons having the force to resist to the insects and maggots though it is a few. Whenever the insect, and so on approach to them, it changes to a harmless insect at once. Apparently, they seemed to be safe. However, that vengeful god finds out them, making his weird feelers wriggle insistently. And, it was that it tempts the zombies to attack and kill them. To escape from the vengeful god in question was the considerably difficult work.
			Miyagi says. "Well, my memory was like that. But, after that I saw in the phantom the feeler in question was about to touch you.". Kageura feels the man's sharp eyes see his bewilderment through his mind. Kageura turned the eyes away from Miyagi, as if it ignores his talk. In spite of that, his mind is about to accept Miyagi's talk strangely. Kageura drank up the remaining already cold coffee, in a single draft. Miyagi says. "This is reality certainly. I think you are recognizing the thing at heart.". However, Kageura keeps the silence. He didn't want to hear anymore. Really now, the subjective self accepting Miyagi's talk is fighting with the rational self denying the thing. And, it wanted to obey the rational mind. But, in the depths of the mind, it doesn't permit oneself to do like that.
	"Damn! In which is truth?". Kageura shut the eyes with the grimace. And, it suddenly recollects the suspicious dream it saw last night. As it thought, would it be the suggestion of something? Kageura glanced at Miyagi upward. But, strangely Miyagi gives him the smile a moment. And, it says casually "Oh, to tell the truth, I sent you that dream". It is the talk hard to accept at all. Kageura stared at Miyagi for a instant. However, when it notices, strangely it is about to accept it in his inmost heart. Anyhow, it seemed the dream in question wasn't a previous notice. Miserable feelings well up together with the anger gradually. And, the thing tormented his mind. "Ha, enough of your jokes!". Kageura blamed Miyagi in spite of oneself. But, Miyagi is calm. "Ah, I'm sorry for my careless talk. But, I felt anxious of whether you come here in only the simple request.". Miyagi apologized like that obediently contrary to Kageura's prospect. However, Kageura can't control the excited feelings anymore. "First of all, why does a ghost old like that appear now? Why does the ghost have to kill me? I can not understand at all!". Kageura kept on speaking in the angry voice. But, Miyagi only listens to Kageura in silence. He looked to be calm strangely. When Kageura's excitement gets settled soon, Miyagi started to speak slowly. It is that it says this matter is related to Kageura's now work. It seemingly was the quite unexpected utterance for Kageura. But, on the other hand, it also feels strangely it is indicating the forecast matter. Kageura, confused, stared at Miyagi with the bewilderment. Miyagi says. "To tell the truth, another man knowing of this is in Tokyo.". And, he started to speak about the thing.
	According to that, Miyagi, returning to Tokyo from Osaka, after in the hotel, grasping the true character of the ghost in question, visited Keisuke Kumanho in Toukei university. This man is issuing many papers with the excellent gift for the study of ancient history, though it is a little freak man who forcibly became the disciple of Miyagi in spite of the close of the Yoga school. Miyagi was thinking it, to solve the psychic phenomenon in question, has to consider Japanese ancient history. Since in that meaning, Kumanho was understanding not only the ancient history but also the psychic phenomenon, it is that it asked Kumanho his opinion about this matter. Miyagi says. "So, Mr. Kageura? You had dug out the ancient secret buried into the historical darkness before noticing maybe, he says.". Just then, Kageura's eyes glimmered for a instant. It is because it always wasn't it didn't think like that.
	But, Kageura dared to keep the silence. It is because it strangely felt a fear about accepting the thing. Kageura glanced at Miyagi upward. Miyagi says. "You had offended the vengeful god probably, before noticing. I think like that". And, he gazed into Kageura's eyes in silence. It seems it, like, is saying "You are already aware of it, won't you?". Kageura, feeling anger a little, pretended the innocent look, saying "Oh, it's a interesting talk". To tell the truth, Kageura had found out the amazing secret in the middle of study of ancient history. It is the concealed historical truth into ancient darkness once. And, it was the historical relationship in between the suppression against soul of people and the hatred of its suppression. However, this isn't the relationship limited to the ancient history. Kageura was believing firmly this is the deep-rooted relationship inherited to today from the ancient time. And, Cotosiro-nusi was symbolizing the hatred inherited like that and also the curse, according to one's study. Or, the cause it feels uneasy strangely and sees unidentifiable monstrous being may be one's recognition like that. But, it is hard to think the vengeful god appeared to this world actually. Kageura wasn't believing a god and ghost or other are real existence so. However, it also is hard to deny Miyagi's talk completely. Did the vengeful god appear really? Did I go into the ancient darkness too deeply? By any chance, it may be so. It must be it dug out the sealed secret and offended the vengeful god, before noticing. He couldn't but think like that strangely. It feels oneself unusually tremble. He was excited terribly though it doesn't know why. Just then, Miyagi asks Kageura to go to Tokyo together with him. And, it says it wants Kageura to talk with Kumanho about this matter. Kageura accepted his proposal though it doesn't know why.
			Kageura, when returning to the home, went through the living room, hurrying and rolled into one's study room. It seems his wife - her name is Kiwako - noticed his mood different from usual. She, when coming out of the kitchen, hurrying, opened the door of the study room, as if it follows after him. "What's happened? Your face looks to be pale a little". She, saying like that, peeped at him from across the book shelf in the anxious mood. However, it doesn't know how to explain. Even if it explains detailedly, it doesn't seem it can make her understand. And, she looks to already be noticing Kageura's recent bad mental condition. If Kageura tells her the truth honestly, it was certain she feels uneasy increasingly, misunderstanding.
	"Why, is that right? No problem particularly. Oops, there is the thing to tell you. I have to go to Tokyo tomorrow morning. So, the breakfast is needless. Then, the dinner is needless, too because I took dinner together with my friend. I happened to see him in the book store. Oh, yes, I go to Tokyo together with him". Kageura, when pretending calm, turned the talk away from her doubt, saying like that in the casual tone. However, she doesn't look to have wiped her doubt completely. "Why, is that right?". She again peeps at him, saying like that. Kageura nodded lightly in silence, feeling it is hard to see her eyes somehow. Kiwako goes back toward the kitchen, murmuring something with the unsatisfactory mood. Kageura murmured "Forgive me" toward the door she shut. Though it feels guilty a little, it can't be helped anymore. He, when changing the mood and sitting at the desk, started to inspect his writings or papers related to the ancient history. However, it seems the meeting with Kumanho brings a good fruit somehow. Or, a truth Kageura still isn't finding out also may become clear. Kageura, before noticing, was enjoying the fulfillment it was forgetting for a long time. But, when he goes into the bed, trying to sleep, he again falls into the suspicious mood. When noticing, he was possessed to the strange uneasiness as usual. And, it gets irritated of oneself for feeling a fear because of that man's talk and also trembling with excitement. "However, why could Miyagi or Kumanho know the contents of my works in spite of the works it still isn't issuing?" It seemed to become incomprehensible increasingly, as it thinks it more deeply.
	Next morning, Kageura waited Miyagi in the lounge of the building called JAL-Sapporo which looks out on the Hokkaido prefectural office building. However, since the appointed time is eight o'clock of forenoon, there is the spare time for about thirty minutes. For the moment, he thought to read a newspaper or other. However, it feels bad somehow. He, when again taking down his slightly lifting waist, looked around only aimlessly. It can see the young persons shouldering the rucksack are gathering here and there. In the corners of the lounge, men and women in couples are talking in smile. Would it be it goes to Hawaii or other? They all looked to have no troubles, getting filled with vigor. Compared with that, one's condition is terrible. Kageura fell into the strange illusion it is peeping at the different world from the world he is in.
	Just then, someone calls his name. When he looks back at once, there was Miyagi behind him. When he looks at the wristwatch, about five minutes only have passed, since he came here. It seemed Miyagi also is in the pressed mood. "Oh, good morning, Mr. Miyagi". In spite of oneself, Kageura answered Miyagi with smile, like that. However, Kageura gets bewildered with one's unexpected attitude like that immediately after that. He, hurrying, recovered the sulky look. But, Miyagi doesn't react to the change of Kageura's attitude so. He, when spreading the newspaper it is holding with the right hand, showed to Kageura it in the hasty behavior. "What?". Kageura, bewildered for a instant, looked up at Miyagi in spite of oneself. Miyagi says. "Look at this. There is an anxious report". Kageura started to read the paper handed from him, for the moment. It is a strange incident. According to that, one of the engineers doing the geological investigation in the planned site to constructing of Nuclear Power Plant was found in the condition of the drowned body near Miho-nho-seki. It says he resigned his work about half a year ago and disappeared somewhere several weeks after that. Though it is unclear whether it was killed by someone or killed oneself, it was stating it is hard to deny either possibility because of the certain doubt. The doubt in question was born of the possibility that someone tried to hide the fact there is the ancient mound in Tishaku. If it becomes clear there is the ancient remains, it can't construct the nuclear power plant until the excavation is finished. The construction of the nuclear power plant gets late than the schedule considerably. According to circumstances, the ancient remains may get preserved everlastingly. It was the serious problem for the companies' taking part in the construction of the nuclear power plant. In that reason, didn't either company try to hide the ancient mound? Then, didn't the engineer in question die because of that? This paper was reporting considerably detailedly about the doubt like that. As for the plot to hide the ancient mound, the police office in Shimane prefecture is investigating for long time until now. It often was reported in a newspaper or in other since the doubt like that got known. However, is the thing related to the death of the engineer really? Kageura couldn't think like that somehow. It is certain he isn't in the important position at the plot to hide the ancient mound.
			If so, it doesn't seem there are the reason it is killed and also the reason it resigns the work. And, it seemed there is no reason he kills oneself because it seems there isn't a personal trouble for him, according to the newspaper or other. If so, what drove him to the death? In Miho-nho-seki, there is the Miho shrine enshrining Cotosiro-nusi. In other words, it must be that a noisy air the works concerning the nuclear power plant give off woke Cotosiro-nusi. So, isn't it that the engineer in question happened to meet Cotosiro-nusi angry and died because of the curse Cotosiro-nusi gives off? Kageura felt a chill in one's back suddenly.
