	Tokyo in summer is terribly hot. It must be because heat the people's workings emit is kept in many concrete structures and among the high buildings like a gorge. And, it feels the humidity is considerably high in comparison with Sapporo it lives in. When a sweat starts to flow out of skin one time, it doesn't die down so easily. Kageura felt the tiredness somehow, not finishing acclimating oneself to this unusual environment. It is the situation it wants a air conditioner. But, Miyagi didn't agree to set such a thing since this samurai residence is used for the mental training. "But, may it be permitted to put it in the detached room?". Since he suffers this terrible hotness day after day, it often was caught to the temptation like that. In spite of that, the cicadas often sing noisily and irritate him insistently. But, it can't be helped because it is that the big tree in the inner garden invites the cicadas. Kageura, when putting the zabuton(Japanese floor cushion) on the verandah overhanging the inner garden, sat down on with the crossed legs and shut the eyes in silence. Recently, the Kigon sect strangely is in the condition so quiet that it feels uncanny. And, the abnormal incidents also almost don't occur though it doesn't know whether it is because the Kigon sect is quiet. For the moment, it was spending the calm time. So, recently he is apt to lose the tense atmosphere. "I have to keep the tense atmosphere a little more". Kageura murmured like that in the depths of the mind. Just then, he suddenly hears the sound of which the sliding door is opened. Kageura, when opening the eyes at once, untied slowly the crossed legs. When it confirms the time in the wristwatch, it is indicating about ten o'clock in the morning. That must be Kumanho. Kageura walked the corridor toward the main entrance, hurrying. When it sees, that visitor is Kumanho, as it thought. Since it still is the tourist style, it seems he came here from the Haneda Airport directly without going back to his home. Anyhow, it feels it to have seen again him after long time. Kageura had given him a friendly smile before noticing. Kumanho also grins with delightful looks in the sunburn face. "Hi! There is a terrific present for you. I found out at last the reason why we keep on holding soul of Jomon even now!". He started to speak like that with the quick tone suddenly. He looks to be so excited that it can't keep the patience to taking off the shoes though it doesn't know why. However, since he speaks too fast, Kageura's brain having been relaxing until now can't cope with his talk. "Hey, come in anyway. You still have time enough, eh?". Kageura, saying like that, got him to stop talking for the moment. This summer, Kumanho was staying in Sapporo together with Noriko, taking the vacation. It seems they enjoyed the casual trip, walking Hokkaido here and there. According to Kumanho, he spent the spare time at the trip with often reading various general books, not the technical journals, and so on. And, Kumanho especially interested oneself in Dr.Tunoda's opinion, reading the books he wrote about the certain ability of a human brain. (This person and the writings exists actually.). # 2-3. Japanese culture and the Japanese people's brain. Dr. Tunoda says the interesting difference about the brain's function is seen between Japanese peoples and the other peoples. He had stated that matter as follows in his writings. Generally, when a person utters the language, it is said the sounds like that(it is expressed as the language sound) are handled in the left hemisphere of the brain. And, the function of a brain like that is applied to also the hearer as well. Of course, the other sounds, for example, mechanical noise and animal's voice, a sigh of stream, and so on are handled generally in a right hemisphere.
			However, in the case of Japanese people, as for the song of insects and a sound of the certain kind of Japanese music instrument, and so on, it is handled in the left hemisphere in spite of the non-language sound. And, in the middle of the research, he couldn't find the special state like that not only in Europeans and Americans but also in the Asian people, besides Japanese people. Thereupon, Kumanho imagined Japanese people hear the song of the insects and a sound of the certain kind of music instrument, and so on as the words though Europeans and Americans, and so on hear it as the mere sound. In other words, it seems Japanese people feel the meaning from the sound like that. So, Kumanho guessed the characteristic of Japanese people's brain like that to be very important for Japanese culture and soul of Japanese people.
	For human being, the existence to give off the meaning needs to be the consciousness body finally. Therefore, the sounds the music instruments, and so on give off are handled in the right hemisphere as the sounds of the non-language generally. However, even if it is a part of non-language sound, if the sounds like that make Japanese people feel the meaning, Japanese people would think the existence giving off the sound like that is a consciousness body different from a human being. In other words, it seems Japanese people feel the existence of a soul and gods and demons or other from the sounds like that though it doesn't know whether we are noticing one's perception like that. Therefore, it is that Kumanho guessed the function of the brain like that to form the basis of the Japanese people's mind. Probably, the "spirit of language" also was conceptualized out of the circumstances like that. Kumanho says "But, Dr. Tunoda says the function of our brain like that isn't heredity". According to Dr. Tunoda, even if it has Japanese peoples' blood, it can't get the function like that if it grows in English language or other. Conversely, if a infant of Englishman grows in Japanese language, it gets the function like that. In other words, it seemed the characteristic of our brain like that is a kind of the culture, being based on the Japanese language. Hereupon, Kageura asks Kumanho in a side glance. "I see. I feel interesting very much. But, why does our language make the culture like that?". Kumanho says. "Yes, Japanese language has many words to be expressed with one vowel. It seems the thing is related to the formation of the culture like that, Dr. Tunoda says.". However, would what be the reason it thought like that? Kageura asked about that problem at once. Kumanho says. "It isn't clear, yet. But, it seems it can say at least it is related to the characteristic of Japanese language like that". "Er, may be so". Kageura, because of the unsatisfactory answer, returned the vague answer for the moment. Kumanho says. "Anyhow, even if we often accept the foreign culture, it seems the characteristic of our brain like that doesn't change if we don't lose the Japanese language". Apparently, it is the proper opinion. Kageura agreed to Kumanho for the moment, saying "In other words, we never lose soul of Jomon as far as there is Japanese language, won't you?". But, next moment, Kageura puts one's head on one side. "But, don't you think you make the logic jump too much?". He gave Kumanho a dubious glance, saying like that hesitantly. But, Kumanho also glances at Kageura with the unsatisfactory looks. Kageura started to speak carefully why it thinks like that. "Let me see, the present Japanese language may have brought the function like that to our brain. But, it can't assert it can apply the characteristic of the language like that to the Jomon period or to the Yayoi period. Don't you think so?". However, it wasn't that he said like that in the true intention. To tell the truth, it was the plotted light revenge for the spiteful argument Kumanho picked with him at last summer, and also was as the mere joke. And, he also was expecting Kumanho notices that joke. In spite of that, Kumanho answers with the serious looks. "Yes, in that respect, Dr. Tunoda had discovered the interesting fact". To all appearances, Kumanho doesn't look to be aware of Kageura's intention. Kageura got disappointed a little. But, Kumanho is engrossed in the explaining of his idea too much. It can't be helped anymore. Kageura listened to Kumanho in silence.
	According to Dr. Tunoda, the characteristic of Japanese people's brain like that was found from the Micronesian besides Japanese people soon. However, the Korean looking to be very close to Japanese people at the blood and at the culture, to say nothing of the other Asian people, hadn't the characteristic like that. In that meaning, they were the same as the white races. Of course, the difference of brain like that is based on the difference of the culture, especially the language. Therefore, it was certain Micronesian also gained the Japanesque brain with using their characteristic language at least in the infant period. Furthermore, since Polynesian is close in Micronesian hereditarily culturally, it seems the Polynesian language also brings the characteristic like that, Dr. Tunoda says. Kumanho at once understood what the thing means.
	According to recent research, it is said the Ainu to be guessed to be the descendant of the Jomon people have the blood relationship with Polynesian. If so, it seems Ainu's language also bring the characteristic of Japanesque brain as well as the Japanese language and Micronesian language. Furthermore, Japanese language is inheriting the characteristic of Jomon language same as the Ainu's language. If so, it can think Japanesque brain originally is based on Jomon language. Kumanho guessed like that. Kumanho says. "According to the recent opinion, it is said that Micronesian and Polynesian, and Ainu, Jomon people all are belonging to old type Mongoloid". It looks like, to ask him to agree. "Sure, their ancestors were living in the Asian Continent, and so on at the older period than the glacial epoch.". Kageura nodded for the moment, saying like that. And, it stated one's knowledge about the thing a little.
			It is said a part of the old type Mongoloid got evolved, adjusting to the cold climate in the inner area of the Asian Continent at the glacial epoch. And, the people like that were named the new type Mongoloid by the scholars. "Let me see, is my understanding right?". Kageura, saying like that, glanced at Kumanho as if it asks him to answer. Kumanho says. "Yes it is. So, I think Micronesian language and Polynesian language, Ainu's language, and Jomon language all belong to the old type Mongoloid's language". Kageura says. "Sure, it may be so if these languages make the Japanesque brain. But, the present Ainu grows in Japanese language. Therefore, it is impossible to confirm your conjecture at least as for Ainu, isn't it?".
	Of course, Kumanho had noticed the thing, before getting pointed out. "Yes it is. But, if my conjecture is right, it is certain Ainu's language gives a person the Japanesque brain. And, if so, it can think Jomon language supposed to be the basis for Ainu's language gives a person the function like that as well". Kageura couldn't but take off one's hat to him for his reasoning complete. Kumanho must have acquired the method to distinguish strictly between the fact and the ideal world he thinks. To tell the truth, it is hard considerably to acquire this method though seemingly it looks to be easy. Anyhow, it looked to be the evidence he was untied out of all the given concept. Kumanho say furthermore. "I think it can classify the people with the characteristic like that as the old type Mongolian family of language or the Pacific family of language at the ancient time though a linguist may knit the brows". But, Kageura can't agree at once. He answered "It may be so" simply. Kumanho says. "Now, about the roots of Japanese language, there is the scholar thinking it Tamils' language, won't you?." "Hum, certainly, but, he was criticized considerably, eh?". Kageura, saying like that, gave him a dubious glance. Kumanho says. "The possibility his opinion is proper partly is left. If so, Tamils may be the old type Mongoloid." However, it doesn't seem he inspected the thing hereditarily. Kageura pointed out only that problem to Kumanho simply.
	Hereupon, Kumanho scratches one's head, saying "Ah, I had no time to examine unfortunately". And, he again started to state one's conjecture. "If Tamils are old type Mongoloid really, I think there is possibility the Indus civilization gave the cultural influence to the old type Mongoloid through the Pacific Ocean.". But, Kageura puts one's head on one side. "Hum, but, it is better to obediently think there was the cultural sphere of Jomon culture situating the center to Japanese Islands. But, let's any longer stop this talk. A course of talk turned away". He, saying like that, asked him to return the talk to the subject. Kumanho also looks to have noticed the thing. He started to talk the reason why Jomon language got evolved to Japanese language, changing the subject though it looked to be unsatisfied somehow.
	When the Jomon people were living in the Japanese Islands widely, the people as New type Mongoloid(so-called Asian people) kept moving south, coming out of the inner area of the Asian Continent one after another. Needless to say, the certain part of them were the ancestors of present Korean people, that is, the Altaic Family. And, the persons as Altaic Family immigrated also to the Japanese Islands for very long period, passing over the sea. However, since they originally are the inland people, it seems their technique for navigation was inferior to Jomon people at least in the beginning. And, the means of the transport also would have been poor. Therefore, it was impossible they come to the Japanese Islands as the flocks in those days. And, in that reason, even if the people as new type Mongoloid could arrive at the Japanese Islands safely, it seems it was hard to survive if it doesn't depend on the Jomon people's society. In other words, they were obliged to use the Jomon language. However, in spite of the hard circumstances like that, they, coming to the Japanese Islands one after another, kept on mixing one's blood to the Jomon people. And, their culture also was fused to the Jomon culture continuously as well. Probably, it seems the historical tendency in Japanese Islands like that roughly was kept from the end of Jomon period until the end of Yayoi period or until the Tumulus period. As it was stated before, it is because the habitants of Japanese Islands in those days needed mainly the technology the new type Mongoloid has. Therefore, it was natural that the habitants of the Japanese Islands gained the characteristic form and quality of the new type Mongoloid and changed one's characteristic form and quality rapidly.
			Probably, Jomon people were living also in the Korean Peninsula until the end of the Jomon period or until the beginning of Yayoi period as it was living in the Japanese Islands. It is because it is said the ancestor of them originally were born in the ancient Asian Continent China now is situated to, according to the recent research. However, the destiny of the Jomon people in the continent was considerably different from the destiny of the Jomon people living in the Japanese Islands. And, it can say the Jomon people living in Korean Peninsula also were exposed to the same destiny as the Jomon people living in the continent. In other words, since Korean Peninsula is adjacent to the inland area of the Asian Continent, it is that they were absorbed at the culture and at the blood by the new type Mongoloid rapidly. They, losing the Jomon language, had been changed to the new type Mongoloid to speak the Altaic language in the early period. In passing, the difference like that between the Japanese Islands and the Korean Peninsula was brought by the Sea of Japan. Anyhow, it also can guess their destiny like that to be the evidence the new type Mongoloid's technology in those days almost had come to be superior to the old type Mongoloid's technology. It may be natural that Jomon people living in Japanese Islands felt the high grade culture from the Altaic language or other. They would have used actively the turn of phrase like Altaic and the accent like Altaic for their language. The trace like that still is seen in the present Japanese language.
	Kumanho says. "The Japanese Islands after the Second World War finished, were filled with the accent like English and with the Japanizing English words. Probably, the ancient people were exposed to the rapid change more than the circumstances like that, too. I think the circumstances like that changed the Jomon language to the Japanese language". "I think so, too, because in those days, there wasn't the Ministry of Education controling the change of words, isn't it?". Kageura, when saying like that, has grinned at Kumanho slightly. Kumanho bursts out laughing in spite of oneself. And, when stopping the laughing by force, he started to speak with the serious look. "But, the basic element of Jomon language, that is, the basic factor for Japanizing brain didn't change, in spite of the circumstances like that. In other words, Jomon language became the Japanese language, not the Altaic. In fact, our brain is different from Korean people's brain.". "I think so, too, because their brain has the same characteristic as European." Kageura answered like that simply for the confirmation. Anyhow, it doesn't seem the basic elements of language are changed so easily. It was certain the Japanese language certainly kept on inheriting a soul of Jomon through the ancient Japanese language from Jomon language in spite of being influenced by the other culture for several thousand years. Many of culture imported from China and from Korea are persistently the culture the new type Mongoloid cultivated. It was difficulty it except the certain thought of Buddhism be a soul of Japanese people, that is, the core of Japanese culture, if it considers the relationship between the brain and non-language sound. However, many of the Japanese people know nothing about the thing. And, they don't know Yayoi culture is the pretended Japanese culture. It is because they don't know it is based on the foreign people's brain fundamentally. In spite of that, at each period, the powers and the people not knowing the thing are apt to rather respect foreign culture and Yayoi culture than the Jomon culture. And, the imported technique or other had become the important means for the expansion of the powers before the people notice. It is that it pushed a soul of Jomon into the depths of the people's mind. It may have been natural that a soul of Jomon got forced to assume the responsibility of the dark part of people's mind. And, in that reason, it is that our culture got colored with the twisted passion and curse to the powers.
	Ironically, the ruler at each period often lost one's identity with despising Jomon culture, that is, Japanese soul. It is because he has a soul of Jomon as the basis of his mind, whether it likes it or not. Though the rulers often stir up Japanese people's racial consciousness, as a matter of fact, it was that they often lose Japanese soul in spite of living as Japanese. Or, it may be better to say it is because it, with killing a soul of words, has lost one's thought. Or else, would it be better to say it is because it, manipulated by the ghost called "everybody", despised Jomon culture? At any rate, the curse the Japanese soul, that is, the core of Jomon culture gives off was born out of the circumstances like that.
