	February 13, 2000: When having started to write this, I hadn't thought that this is troublesome work so. Although it states the complaint a little, it seems that I needs long time, to confirm the causation of the facts I remember, while comparing it with the objective fact. And it also isn't so easy to unite the confirmed facts like that and also my feelings in those days and also my thought. This work seems to complete later than the first schedule considerably. However, since after Katsuo disappeared from this world, the problem Katsuo showed isn't solved, yet, it is hard to assert there isn't the case that this work doesn't complete. 1. His university life. When he entered the university, he became cheerful considerably compared with former days. Our university is in Kanagawa prefecture very far from Hokkaido we were born, and brought up. It seems that it was good for him to have started the life by oneself, leaving the parents. He must have tasted the sense of freedom it didn't know ever since it was born. However, it seems that it wasn't so easy to mix with others frankly as well as former days. The persons he can talk frankly were limited to a few friends. He didn't know to doubt others ever since his infant period. Or, it, not so, may be that it always was feeling a fear it may doubt others. However in spite of his mind like that, it seems that it wasn't rare so much that he was betrayed by others. "The thing together with his passive nature make him dodge the contact with others". I in those days had thought like that. However, I remember that it in those days felt it saw one uncanny part of his personality as a time. In other words, I felt "Isn't he lacking certain part of sense to cope with others?". However, since it was the quite vague sense, I in those days didn't think about it so deeply because I as the student had many tasks to do else. However, when it thinks about it now, it seems that his strange personality I felt before is based on the mental experience in his infant period. And probably its experience was the horrible wall rising in front of his eyes between himself and the world. "Others always are in the world different from my world. Something is obstructing my contact with others.". He must have thought so. And probably, his mental wall like that suppressed the inborn nature the human being inherits to have the sense of unity together with others. He was suffering with a kind of the sense of isolation though it doesn't know whether it was the conscious feeling. I in those days have belonged to the club learning the social science called Legal Method. And, Katsuo also went into this club at once when entering the university. In the reason that I am his senior one year at this university, he depended on me about various things. Although it seems that apparently he had thought that it is natural to do so, I was often caught to the impulse to say "Why are you so?" because he asks me even about the things put on the notice board. But it is awkward to leave him not knowing much of the daily life. In those days I was hearing his selfish requests, with the mind like that. Needless to say, it isn't I also knew the society so. But Katsuo in those days was the happy-go-lucky fellow so horrific that no one can imagine. However, it seems that it was his unconscious play to hide one's weakness. And, he had deceived oneself by the play like that probably.
Civilization and living body.			In those days, Japan was in the middle of the terrific economic progress. Conversely, the storm of student movement with the extreme left-wing thought had started to become weak. But the extreme left-wing thought still kept on influencing the society, especially students. However, it seems that the thought like that started to degenerate into a kind of the fashions since the students started to use it to show their wisdom, soon. Anyhow, many students stating the left-wing thought were selecting the capitalism with the stomach secretly, while selecting the left-wing thought in the brain for the moment. And the brain like that is eaten by the stomach, soon. The detestable crimes we see now, and also present confused politics, or other must be occurring because of the social circumstances like that. In other words, the people came to tend to think nothing besides the daily life. Therefore, only time passed before we find out new idea which will lead Japan. However, since it seems that I'm one of the people who gave up thinking, although it can't talk big about this problem, it can't but say as it thought before. It is because Katsuo would have kept thinking about the world, while fighting with horrible madness which attacks him persistently.
	What we need now is our thought which is based on the Japanese culture permeating into our mind. And to establish the thought like that, we must start from rewriting the ancient Japanese history rightly. But unfortunately the movement like that isn't occurring. Even now, the philosophy we hear in Japan is the imitation of the West European philosophy. And, the ancient Japanese history is hiding certain truth in the political reason. Because of that, the philosophical principle to lead Japan isn't born even now. So, we, keeping on living only for the stomach, lost sight of the guiding principle of how to live. We were believing in the honest mind the students stating the left-wing-thought would have, though we had doubted the left-wing-thought itself. And it was certain that we had the mental tendency to deny the given things as the youths in those days were so. So, it may be that we felt sympathy for the left-wing students. Then although it doesn't know whether it is because we were under the environment like that, we didn't spend the time to research the law so, in spite of having registered on the department of law. Or else, should it say that it is because we had the habit of idling? Anyhow, we rather interested oneself in the method for social science. But, we never have been in the situation we practice social science, using the method like that. The priority was given to enjoy the student life, in most cases. Since needless to say, we, both almost hadn't money, it was hard to have splendid fun. However, in those days, we could enjoy freedom purely. However it wasn't dissolute freedom to be observed in a part of the young men. It was understanding it should control oneself though it wasn't conscious understanding. And even if it thinks making relate my understanding like that to the present society, it can say that this understanding is proper. The dissolute behavior rather makes the person lose the true freedom. It is because as for a person like that, it doesn't know one's true will. And if it hasn't the will, it is impossible to get the true freedom. If it asked Katsuo about this problem, he would have said that the dissolute behavior is the evidence that Satan, with using the person's desires secretly, controled that person for one's plan. Needless to say, It isn't that I behaved with self-control, considering the rule consciously in those days. Although it wrote about the thing a little before, since it is important, it again wrote. Anyway I was only following the custom in Japanese society unconsciously. In other words, since the social norm had permeated in imprinting into most people's subconscious, it is it worked well. The social norm a person had in those days had been cultivated by the information transmission held among the said person, the parents, friends and neighbours before it is the conscious rule. The feature of social norm seems to have to be like that originally. Anyhow I in those days had almost thought nothing about the thing like that. And it thinks that Katsuo also was same as me almost. We each enjoyed the non policy-life nonchalantly.
	2. The change of Katsuo. Katsuo looked to have changed a little, since the time he got promoted to the second grade in the university. "We now have no political position possible to choose, besides the left-wing or the right-wing. Isn't this strange?". One day he started to say like that suddenly. And, he started to read various books about the political thought or other, saying "I'll theorize based on my idea and argue with the extreme left-wing". I remember it at that time listened to him with admiration and in wonder, feeling he progressed mentally. However, on the other hand, it couldn't but feel a fear of his talking with the people of extreme left-wing who justify the impulse of violence. I in those days was thinking the extreme left-wing is the terribly boorish people though it disliked the right-wing more than them in the reason that they tend to behave quite violently. Since Katsuo in those days didn't know a human more than me, I worried over him, thinking his plan is reckless. I told him that he should give up arguing with extreme left-wing.						The physical world the cognition-subject sees.
	However, he didn't hear my advice. He, when finding out of a book, and so on the idea necessary for an argument, caught several students to look the left-wing and started to argue with them at once. But if it considers his behavior I saw in those days, it didn't seem that he had understood exactly one's idea and also the contents of the book he got the hint from. Well, fortunately, since his talk included the big jump of logic and furthermore was terribly dreamy, the fellows in the left wing rather looked to be amused with his talk. Although he, while saying "I was teased by them" once in a while, have shown one's anger, it seems there wasn't that he was punched by them, under their understanding that he is a odd fellow. By any chance, it may be that the thing the tone of his talk always was mild gave him the fortunate situation. Since then, after about two months, Katsuo visited my room. Although this wasn't rare thing particularly, his looks are very bright different from usual. I, getting bewildered a little, asked him, saying "What's up?". Then, he says "I established my theory to defeat the left-wing thought.". And he handed me several papers. When I glance at the first paper, it can see the title which was written like "the contradiction the god has" with big letters. I looked up at him in some bewilderment. But he, saying "read this!" with quick tone, immediately went out of my room before I return the answer. Anyhow, that is the behavior too selfish. "what on earth does he intend?". At that time, to say nothing of bewilderment, I felt even anger really. Although it isn't that it doesn't want to know what theory, the attitude he showed a little while ago is problem. And when it considers the present situation that he is becoming the dreamer increasingly, it seems that it can't expect so. Although I for the moment turned the eyes on the papers, since I didn't want to read as it thought before, I had turned the eyes away from the papers before noticing. It strangely feels the heart filled with disagreeable warm fog. I, going out of the lodging when standing up suddenly, started walking casually. And, I'm walking toward the university before noticing. It takes about ten minutes to walk from my lodging to the university. In the afternoon four o'clock campus, the sign of person is thin. I, when turning suddenly, started to walk to the direction of my lodging. Although I thought to go to my clubroom someone may be in, it is because I strangely wasn't mood like that. So, I played in the amusement arcade on one's way to my lodging and lost three hundred yen in the game. In those days, I paid three thousand yen for the room with about five square meter. In other words, three hundred yen was large sum for me in those days. Although it had thought to buy a fried cake of minced meat for my evening meal, it can't do so anymore. I, buying a few vegetables and one pack of fermented soybeans, came back to my room. However, when I went into the room, I found the papers in question on the desk. It is the natural result because it is that it left Katsuo's paper there just before. I recalled Katsuo's face brightened with pleasure of one's great discovery a little before. If I see him next, he would ask me about the impression of the theory he discovered. Somehow I have to read this. I, when thinking like that, took the papers from the desk.
Three dimension universe with characteristic time.			However, what on earth is this? Once I saw it a little, I got disappointed really. To all appearances, it doesn't look to be a theory at all. It is nothing else but to ba the mere story. I threw the papers, on the desk in spite of oneself. Although it doesn't know why, it feels hungry. If so, it first should take the evening meal though it may be earlier a little. Since it had cooked rice at noon, it, when finishing cooking the miso-soup of the vegetable, ate the cooked rice, the fermented soybeans and the miso-soup at once. The meal gets finished for about ten minutes. I, when taking the paper from the desk at once, started to read it, deciding to necessarily read all. And its contents were as follows. On one occasion, the god wanted universe. However, the god isn't the existence that should be perceived originally. Persistently the god is the existence that does cognition. In other words, since the god is cognition-subject, not the being able to be perceived originally, it is the god can't perceive oneself if the world to be expression of oneself is nowhere. Thereupon the god thought it has to create universe to perceive oneself. In other words, it is the ideal world the god's intent is filled into. However, by any chance various serious troubles may occur if the universe is created. So, the god hesitated, feeling troublesome of creating the universe.
	In spite of that, the god's impulse that creates the universe is so strong. So, the god created the universe impulsively in spite of oneself before it considers the troubles that will occur. But, the god's mind that feels troublesome separated from the god, becoming Satan as the will which destroys the world. So, the universe came to get filled with the contradictions. But strangely, the god didn't worry so in spite of the birth of Satan. It is because the god had given the universe the time. "The seed of my ideal will make the ideal world, spreading out into the universe as time goes on". The god thought so. And, it at first seemed that the universe is moving, trying to become the ideal world as the god guessed in spite of Satan's intrigue. So, as time goes on, it looked to have become certain that Satan is defeated. However, when the living substances, that is, the life with soul appeared in this world, soon, and brought the human being to this world, Satan grined secretly. As a matter of fact, it is because Satan, considering the movement of world like that, foresaw that nothingness will swallow this world, soon. Needless to say, Satan pretends to know nothing about the thing. Satan was only observing the practice of the god's plan, hiding to the depths of the universe. On the other hand, the god believes firmly one's win when noticing that Satan became silent. And, as the god believed before, the god's ideal materialized at last though it may be better to say "too easily". Needless to say, the people all admire the god. The god arrived at the peak of pride at that time. Just then, Satan appeared suddenly there. "Oh, God, my father! I had acted your enemy as my duty until now. And really now your plan materialized. Your ideal materialized! Let me celebrate this great result and admire your wisdom!". Satan said like that and prostrated oneself before the god as if it is the frog or other. The god said. "The king of the dark! You made my pure light prominent well. In this, your work is all over. I will allow you to return to me!". Satan bowed with respectful attitude and said. "Thank you for your kind words. But, there is one problem to settle. Certainly, our ideal materialized really now. However, if the time keeps on advancing as it is so, the ideal world would keep on moving furthermore. And if so, the ideal world would start to collapse because there isn't to be the world ideal more than this. It needs to stop the time, to keep this ideal world.". The Satan's talk was very serious. "Why had Satan kept silence about so serious thing until now?". The god, giving off the moan in spite of oneself, in the look filled with anger stared at Satan. However, when it thinks, taking back calm, it seems that Satan's suggestion is proper. It is certain that the ideal world changes If time goes on as usual as it is. "If so, is there no way but to stop time?". The god asked oneself like that. If it is the usual god, it may have doubted the Satan's words. However, the god now is looking at his ideal world in front of the eyes, and is being caught to its sight. When it imagines this ideal world collapses, it can't allow the collapse of this beautiful world at all. "I see! I'll do so now". The god, when saying so, stopped time at once, forgetting to question about Satan's suggestion to him closely. Although it seemed that the god had taken back the calm, as a matter of fact, it seems that the god have been bewildered in the most heart. What a careless behavior it is! The ideal world, losing energy at once, became the world of absolute zero. And, when the pitch-darkness covers all, all perception evaporated. Furthermore even the god's perception evaporated. Needless to say, although the god tried to recover the ideal world, hurrying before thinking, it can move nothing anymore because it already is the world frozen in absolute zero. Even the god also was shut into the icicle of absolute zero. And Satan's soundless voice resounds at the world of the nothingness. It certainly was saying "The god's ideal betrayed the god itself". And that voice also evaporated at once into the true darkness. Really, it is the world of the true nothingness unable to know whether it is happy or not. When the god froze, Satan also evaporated. Are you happy now? Or are you unhappy now? Can you judge about the thing now really? The end for the moment.
	"What's this? Why could he say this is the theory!". I, when having finished reading that, couldn't stand the laughing. However, on the other hand it felt that it could understand Katsuo's thought just a little. Katsuo had read a little "Das Capital" Marx wrote, because in those days it was one fashion among students. And, I also had read it in old days. Marx's thought is the historical materialism. And the back bone supporting it was dialectic. However, the dialectic is ignored suddenly when he states one's opinion about the period he assumes his ideal materializes. If the dialectic is used to think about the society which would be born in when his ideal finished materializing, it seems that it is because it is very awkward for his ideal. Needless to say, there are persons saying that it never be that the dialectic was ignored. However, Although it forgot what reason they stated about it, I couldn't find out from their explanation the reason to make me understand. It is certain that the dialectic was ignored in certain part of his theory. And it was certain that this also was the serious contradiction which is found in Marx's thought. "Katsuo must have written ironically about the thing by this story". I remember having thought like that at that time. However, when it thinks about the story in question now, it seems that besides it, there also were the other things he wanted to state. It is because it seems that the contents of the letter he wrote in the hospital have the point common to the story in question. By any chance, it may be that his madness and also its cause, already in the university period started to become active in his heart. I started to think so now.						Evolution to be brought by chance and inevitably.
	Anyhow, it seems that he in those days had felt a serious anxiousness, contrary to his cheerfulness. And it recalls his cheerfulness looked to be superficial in those days. By any chance, the cause he said the story in question is my theory may have been his unconscious impulse which want to hide the anxiousness he has. If so, what kind of anxiousness was he suffering? It probably seems that he expressed his anxiousness with using the words of "the Satan's intrigue" on the letter in question. And, it also seems that the obstructive wall he had felt from the infant times relates to the anxiousness in question. However, is it personal anxiousness? Or else, is it the anxiousness of the social crisis? I'm continuing to think the thing ever since he died. The reason why I continue to think like that is because Katsuo had the rare ability different from others. Although it may be hard to believe it, when he recognizes one fact, he could foresee the future which is related to the said fact as a time. However, when it thinks about his ability now, it seems that it was the ability given in return for his madness. In the highschool age Katsuo's school record often was better than me. However it in those days seemed that the power of understanding he shows degenerates gradually. But although it wasn't anxious of him so because apparently it seemed that it wasn't the condition so terrible that it influences the school work, it was certain that it felt somehow that he is strange. When it asks him a academic question, there often were the thing that he can't explain logically about the process of the thinking which lead him to the conclusion even in the cases that he can state the right conclusion. But in those days, I, guessing casually that it would be because the growth of his ability stopped, didn't think about it so deep. It is because the cases the student's ability didn't become better were seen as a time after it entered the university. However, in the case of Katsuo, it was different from the case like that a little. When we judge the ability for recognition one person has, I think that it tends to jump to conclusion easily with considering only the logical ability and the amount of knowledge. But it is hard to say the manner like that always is right. There are many persons stating the mistaken conclusion in spite of having the excellent logical ability, the abundant knowledge, and so on. And, since the conclusions the persons like that stated are defended by the detailed logical thought, its influence to society is worse compared with the common persons' mistakes. In other words, the social influences the excelling person's mistaken conclusion like that brings are very serious.
The secret of memory and the possibility world.			Contrary to that, there are the persons able to find out the proper answer for a certain question, though most of them logically can't explain well the process of the thinking. In other words, their brain cells work very strictly and exactly, to get the proper answer with understanding rightly the information brought from the outside world though the function to explain isn't enough. Probably it seems to be because the person like that so well can't confirm consciously the process of one's thinking. And Katsuo must have been the human being of the kind like that. In passing, in this case, the outside world includes the one's mind and body. But Katsuo's ability to foresee the future isn't inborn. At least until he was promoted to second grade in the university, it didn't seem that Katsuo has the ability in question. And I remember this ability came to be seen remarkably after a few months he who had worked as the business man after leaving the university resigned the company. In those days, he sent me the letter once in a while. And, the relationship between him and me almost was the same as that of the university period.
	However, there was the part different from that of the university period. It is because there as a time was the corner which was named as "Today's presentiment" in the letter sent from him. Since he could tell no one it probably, it seems that it wanted to inform at least me. Or, since he still was young, it may be that it tried to show for the boast one's ability. Anyhow, I don't remember the cases his presentiment was the mistake completely. By the way, the cause of the mental illness isn't one. And we can see various conditions of illness, corresponding to each sufferer's personality and so on. For example, it seems that there is the case that the logical ability the said sufferer's brain has doesn't come to be almost weak though the ability for explanation is poor. And the person classed into the case like that has the excellent intuition probably. The thing can be guessed if it observes Katsuo's talk and behavior a little. In the case of him, after the conclusion first was flashed on his brain, he looks for its explanation with logical thinking. His ability in question seems to be based on the feature like this of his brain. However, it seems to be hard to keep the ability of presentiment like that in only the feature like this of brain. It needs the large scale worldview and also the logical consistency in between the worldview like that and reality probably. To tell the truth, I also temporarily had the ability like that. So, since it thought about it for long, it could guess like that. Anyhow, it is hard to think that the letter in question is only mad man's mere silly talk. However, what did he want to show to me in that letter ? I still can't understand it well. I suddenly recalled the situation of his dying it heard in the rumor.
